Our Facilities: Greenwich Park Tennis Centre(GPTC) has six tennis courts and a small terrace area, right next to the rose garden. The tennis centre is open all year round. Tennis court use is dependent on daylight hours and daily changes in the weather, but whatever the weather, we aim to offer a year-round tennis programme at competitive prices and give a standard of coaching that is second-to-none. Children can play for free weekdays between 3 and 5pm and in school holidays if the courts are free.
GPTC has been operated by Playzennis since 2000, a niche business exclusively dedicated to tennis in Greenwich. Since 2004, GPTC has been part of the Will To Win initiative, making tennis available to everyone in London's Royal Parks. Will To Win promote Tennis For All.
Will To Win (WTW): For over 20 years, WTW has been delivering community sport across London. In 1995, WTW was created to improve tennis and sports facilities in public parks and enable year round play for all ages and abilities. We operate venues in the most beautiful parks across London, including Regent's, Hyde & Greenwich Parks , as well as Chiswick House Gardens, Lammas & Pitshanger Park in Ealing and many park venues in the Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth.
Our motto is "Sport for all" and we aim to achieve this by, "... increasing participation in sport by providing a year round destination within public parks, delivering attractive, accessible, affordable facilities for all." We work closely with the Royal Parks and Borough Councils to achieve our mission.
